Glenn Band News - Week of 5/13

Hello, Glenn Band Fans!

As we near the end of our time together this year, it was wonderful to spend a few more precious hours together at our 2024 Band Banquet. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the event, and to Mrs. Ortiz & Mrs. Hernandez for all of your help organizing the banquet. It was nice to have another "Glenn Personal Record" at the end of our year with this banquet, which was the first time we have hosted our band banquet off-campus.

Congratulations to all of our GHS Percussion students (and to all of our indoor percussion members) on your “Day of Percussion” Concert on Saturday!

One more reminder - the band program does not slow down in these last two weeks. We have events all the way through the final day of school and graduation, so please check the Band Calendar for upcoming events. We have also recently updated the calendar to include anticipated fall marching band shows and football games for the 2024 season for your preliminary planning.

Thank you for reading all of our newsletters this year. It has been a joy bringing good news and "GPRs" to all of you this year!

• Mon, Tue, Thu; May 13th, 14th, 16th - 2024 Marching Band Spring Camp (4:45-7:15 PM)
• Wed, May 15th - Registration Night (5:00-8:00 PM, GHS Band Hall)
• REQUIRED FOR ONE PARENT + 2024-2025 BAND STUDENTS
• Thu, May 16th - 2024 Marching Band Show Debut (7:30 PM, GHS Comp. Gym)
• Mon, May 20th - Spring Concert (6:00 PM, GHS Auditorium)
• Fri, May 24th - Graduation Band (Graduation from 12:00-2:00 PM, itinerary TBA)
• Note: Grad Band includes all students from the top two bands
