Grizzly Band News - Summer Update & Special Zoom Meeting

Dear Glenn Band Fans,

Our percussion, Gems, and leadership teams have been having a strong start to summer rehearsals - it's hard to believe that summer band is nearly here!

Please see below for important reminders....

Attention Parents:

• The Band Boosters will be holding a special ZOOM meeting tomorrow at 6pm to vote on the budget proposal for the '22-'23 school year.
• This is an important and short zoom meeting to review and vote on the budget.
• Please join if you can - an email was sent earlier tonight with login information.

Registration Day: Saturday, July 23 9am-3pm

• Join us on Saturday for a come-and-go meeting between 9am-3pm
• Students and one parent should attend
• Please bring one (1) case of bottled water and one (1) box of tissues with you to donate to the band if you are able to - thank you!
• Details and a checklist will be sent out before Saturday 

Summer Band: Monday, July 25

• For detailed information, please check the previous email from Mr. Travis. A schedule PDF can also be found in that email.
• It will be hot outside - we will take care of the kids, and need them to take care of themselves. Please make sure that your student(s) come to GHS on Monday with the following:
• Sunscreen
• Half gallon water jug (or bigger - this is NOT optional)
• Athletic clothes (white tee shirt, athletic shorts)
• Proper athletic footwear - "gym shoes" that are in good condition
• Hat & sunglasses

Summer band is a lot of hard work and a lot of fun - being prepared will help to make our first day together a great one.
